Title : Writing PAD

Writing Purposefully in Art & Design (Writing PAD) is a 3 year project led by Goldsmiths College, with Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and the Royal College of Art. The aim of the project is to raise awareness of the common problems that Art & Design students encounter with traditional writing practices, and to raise awareness of alternative models of good practice. The website provides case studies on tried and tested modules where writing takes a central place, and also invites members of the Higher Education Art and Design community to submit their own case studies. In addition, the website includes reports, discussion papers, symposium presentations, a news section, a list of related links, and contact details. The project is funded by the HEFCE Fund for the Development of Teaching and Learning (FDTL Phase 4).
